About ASE Recovery

A clinical recovery practice built on discipline, experience, and a commitment to thoughtful, individualized care.

ASE Recovery was built through disciplined practice, study, and structured growth. What began as hands-on training and case study work evolved into a clinical recovery practice serving individuals who value thoughtful care, professional standards, and measurable results.

Amma Wendy Williams is the founder of ASE Recovery and a trained therapeutic massage practitioner with specialized experience in lymphatic drainage and post-surgical recovery care.

She trained at the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy (PSMT) and has worked with professional athletes as well as individuals recovering from surgery and chronic pain conditions.

Amma is also a graduate of Douglas Education Center for Esthetics and Nail Care and plans to expand ASE Recovery services to include additional wellness offerings in the near future.

Her work focuses on supporting the body’s natural healing process through skilled therapeutic touch, clinical knowledge, and compassionate care.

A Foundation Built Through Experience

ASE Recovery was not created overnight. It developed through years of practice, study, and personal experience.

Amma’s journey into bodywork began through movement and later deepened through personal health challenges that required patience, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the body’s recovery process.

Those experiences shaped a philosophy that healing is not instant—it is a process that requires consistency, careful attention, and respect for the body’s natural rhythms.

Over time, working with clients across a wide range of conditions—from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain and athletic strain—reinforced the importance of thoughtful, individualized care delivered with both skill and integrity.

Founders Circle

Growth is never done alone. The Founders Circle honors those who supported ASE Recovery during its formative years. These individuals participated in early case studies, practice sessions, and foundational development that shaped the clinical standards upheld today.

Community Care Initiative

ASE Recovery believes wellness care should be accessible.

Through our developing community wellness initiative, we aim to support individuals who may not otherwise have access to therapeutic care — including seniors, recovery patients, and individuals with limited mobility.

As the practice grows, we hope to partner with community organizations and supporters to provide compassionate care to those in need.
